About This Event / イベントについて
Sylvanian Families Exhibition 40th runs 9–28 September 2026 across Hankyu Umeda Gallery (display), Art Stage and the adjacent event space (shop). Organiser is Hankyu Umeda Main Store. The dollhouse series — animal families in a woodland village, sold in 80+ countries — launched in 1985; this edition is the 40th-anniversary show. Hankyu notes some displays use Tokyo-venue photography and content may differ.
Tickets are timed (from 10:10, then hourly-ish slots through 18:00) and not sold on the 9th floor. Advance (29 July – 8 September): adults (junior high+) ¥2,000, children (3–elementary) ¥1,000, goods-set tickets ¥4,000. Same-day from 9 September: ¥2,200 / ¥1,200 / ¥4,200 via eplus or FamilyMart copiers. Under-2s are free (two per accompanying adult 18+). Merchandise shop is after the exhibition; no re-entry; no shop-only visits.
Highlights listed by Hankyu include a walk-through village, 100+ baby figures, a large diorama, archive pieces and a Fairy series zone. Exclusive dressed figures and a “forest house” lottery (¥800, five draws per person per day) sit in the shop.

Leave large suitcases in station lockers; they are banned in the galleries.
