新梅田食道街2Fの落ち着いたワインバー。希少なフランチャコルタをグラスで提供
Wine Bar Binario is a second-floor bar in Shin-Umeda Shokudogai that leads with a rarely poured wine: Franciacorta, Italy's top-tier sparkling made in the same bottle-fermented method as Champagne, produced by far fewer wineries and so seldom seen by the glass. The bar keeps more than thirty Franciacorta labels in rotation and opens two or three at a time for a tasting flight, alongside a broader selection of Italian still wines and, for those less keen on wine, craft beer including local Minoh beer. The room is calm and unhurried, and the bar is deliberately easy for a solo drinker to drop into. The opening hours run from evening into late night with a last order in good time, and the relaxed second-floor setting makes a natural stop on a bar-hopping route through the alley or a quiet end to an evening on your own. The staff are happy to guide you through the Franciacorta flight or suggest an Italian red to suit your taste, and the small food menu is built for sipping rather than a full meal. It suits wine-curious visitors, solo drinkers, and anyone looking for a more grown-up corner of the food alley. Climb the stairs, settle in, and ask for a pour of Franciacorta - it is a small luxury you will not easily find by the glass elsewhere. Go Umeda raises a flute to the quiet specialists, and Binario is exactly that.
