About This Event / イベントについて
The 4th Nippon Seikasai is organised by the Nippon Seikasai executive committee at two Kita-ku sites a short walk from JR Osaka Station: Grand Green Osaka Step Plaza and Umeda Sky Building Wonder Square, Saturday 26 and Sunday 27 September 2026, 11:00–18:00. Entry is free. The official site describes it as one of Japan’s largest agriculture gatherings — growers selling seasonal produce, processed foods, cooking booths, municipal PR and mascots (listings mention Saga’s Tsubo-zamurai and Tokushima’s Sudachi-kun, subject to change).
The third edition at the same two venues on 11–12 April 2026 drew about 100,000 people over two days and coverage from Kansai TV, the Japan Agricultural News and the Yomiuri Shimbun. Organisers expect similar or higher turnout in September and list rain-goes, severe-weather-cancels.
Bring cash as well as cards; farm stalls vary. The two venues are a 10-minute walk apart via the Umekita / Shin-Umeda decks — budget time if you want both.

Go early on Saturday; the April edition was packed by early afternoon.

Walk both venues — Grand Green (Umekita) and Sky Building Wonder Square are not the same plaza.
