Umeda Aruku Fes 2026 runs 1–31 October across Kita-ku. The organisers call the walking programme pokatsu. Entry is free. You need an account on the official site, then you scan QR codes around the district to collect points.
Walk these three spots first
The rally has ten checkpoints. You do not need all of them in one day. Each scan is worth 2 points. Posters sit in odd corners, so start with indoor plazas.
Hankyu Sun Plaza (concourse entrance) is open 4:35–0:05. Look for the Umeda chairs, then the poster on a nearby pillar. From there, go up to JR Osaka Station 5F Toki no Hiroba (8:00–23:30). The poster is by the central planting under the gold and silver clocks. That is 4 points.
Drop to Hanshin Umeda’s east sidewalk, under the southeast escalator. From Shake Shack walk about 50 metres south to underground entrance F40. The poster is on a pillar. It is outdoors, so rain is a good reason to stop here. Official copy still counts it as 2 points.
Three Saturday venues
Limited pokatsu sits on Saturday 10, 17 and 24 October, 11:00–18:00, at three sites. Storm cancellations go on the official site and @umedaarukufes.
Refresh Square is Toki no Hiroba on Osaka Station City 5F. The day runs 3-beat walk (Japan DFWALK Association) at 11:30, Shogo Shirata at 12:00, Takuma Onishi at 14:00, Junichiro Kanashima at 15:00, yoga at 16:00, Zumba at 17:00 with Umekita Onsen Hasu. Booths: @aroma air-mist workshop (¥1,980, 15–20 minutes, two people) and VIVIANANOVANTA foot-pressure checks.
Machinaka Marche is Hankyu Sun Plaza. Osaka Animation College caricatures, Hanshin Engei moss terrariums (¥1,000, about 30 minutes, max four per slot, cash), Oishi Coffee from Juso (¥600 a cup), Maruha Seika, Kitano’s ametista, Assiette from Tenjinbashisuji 6-chome, and nasimi jams. The site also flags autumn-only dishes.
Active Field is the north sidewalk of Osaka Umeda Twin Towers South. Bouldering (free, about 10 minutes), NEULO PathOne try-on, Osaka Municipal Institute of Design sticker making (¥300), Surf Fit Umeda’s Choino-ri, Hot Yoga Loive and Pilates K posture checks, Sumitomo Life Vitality Plaza 3D foot scans, and H2O Next’s street health booth. Most of those are free.
Joining a limited-pokatsu session or buying something is worth 10 points. The Halloween mini-game is 5. You can earn each of those once per person, per day, per venue.
If you still have legs: KITTE and Grand Front
Add KITTE Osaka 5F northwest lifts (9:00–23:00), Grand Front Osaka South Building 5F by the central up escalator (11:00–21:00), and Time Out Market Osaka’s stage in Grand Green Osaka South B1F (11:00–23:00). The rest of the map is Yodobashi Camera Multimedia Umeda 1F by the 24-hour pickup window, Nishi-Umeda Park’s central turf and benches, INNOGATE Osaka 2F beside the diorama (8:00–23:30), and Osaka Station City 3F information (8:00–23:30). Those last two are new for 2026.
Prize entries run 1 October to 6 November 23:59. One entry per prize. 100 points: TENTIAL BAKUNE mesh set (1 winner). 70: Umekita Onsen Hasu all-day 1-day passport for two (1). 60: Time Out Market Osaka meal voucher ¥5,000 (4). 50: Molton Brown Rose Dunes bath and shower gel 300 ml from Grand Front (20). 40: Hasu weekday basic ticket for one (10). 30: Oishi Coffee, Assiette and ametista set (10). Winners are told by shipment in mid to late December.
